CAMCAD VISION by Router Solution Inc. with a Protel ASCII PCB read license
allows you to view protel layout.
Look at www.camcad.com, you can download the software with a 30-day license
and a free usefull add-on : PCB explorer.
I don't know the Protel viewer but I use the Theda PCB viewer option and I
find CAMCAD convenient (net filters & highlights, hide polygons,...) and
very stable.

I have a customer who wishes to view pcb designs on a viewer. Anyone know of
a way to view the actual Protel database (so they can see net names, measure
things etc.)?
