I was thinking about Ken's problem as well but could not come up with a
sensible explanation. Unless it is a manifestation of the bug that I
discussed a while ago (about May 2001) where selecting a group of tracks,
components pads etc and then moving the selection and using the 'L' key to
flip layers can cause these entities to become hidden. I wonder, Ken, if
you have used the 'L' key to flip selections?

You could try to save the file as an ASCII file and reopen. I do not know
if this is still the case but in the early days of the Windows product,
extra validation was apparently done on an ASCII import - compared to that
done with a binary import. Also you may find that the conflict preventing
display of entities is not able to be represented in the ASCII file and
this may clear it up.

Ken, are you able to send the ddb file or even just the pcb file for
someone else to check. Say if you are prepared to do so on the list but
*don't* send it to the list in general - people wouldn't like it and the
list is set to drop attachments.
