I've seen this happen when the printer that was used in the original print
set up is not currently on line, or has gone away.
I've resolved this in two ways when it happens to me:
1) Turn on the printer in question, or make sure that it is working
correctly. This is especially true if this is a networked printer.
2) Hold control key while starting up Protel, or opening the DDB in
question. Then delete the print setup and create a fresh one with the
currently active printer.
I'm sure that there are other variations that can be used, but those two
always correct the problem for me.
I reported this to Protel quite some time ago, but haven't heard anything
more from them regarding the status of fixing this glitch.
Hope this helps,
Burt Bicksler
