Its good to know that Hotmail uses Unix server. But, I think i have heard something different. Hotmail is not the original product or service of M$ Windows. It was bought from some others ,so has now rebranded to Windows Live Hotmail. I think it was first started from BSD. It was all what I had read, as much as I remember .
