Hi all,

This is just a brief introduction to using GPG (Gnu PGP) with Mozilla
Thunderbird. For understanding PGP, you can read up wikipedia.org/pgp
and wikipedia.org/gpg.
You can use GPG to encrypt your message or sign it so that it actually
means it's coming from you (atleast it's hard to forge the message)

Steps-

1) download enigmail from
http://enigmail.mozdev.org. (right-click "Save As")
2) Open Mozilla Thunderbird
3) Tools > Add-ons > Extensions
4) Press install (find the enigmail)
5) Generate public/private key for your particular email
6) Restart Mozilla Thunderbird
7) Select Email account > Properties > OpenPGP Security
8) Select the appropriate key ID.
9) Follow the prompts.

Remember to save the private key generated from OpenPGP to a safe place
like CD-ROM.

I think I covered this topic many months ago in
[EMAIL PROTECTED] but I don't think anyone was
interested back then.

HTH

Cheers.
