Dear all, Freedom Toaster was launched for the first time in Nepal (Probably in Asia) at SFD '07 celebration. The machine was able to toast more than 90 CDs in 6 hours. Due to the time constraint and single machine, we were compelled to exclude/deny toasting DVDs of various Distros.
The scope and importance of Freedom Toaster in Nepal could be derived from this statistics of the day. The toaster burned Nepalinux and Ubuntu the most. Since Novell India Supported us with Open Suse DVDs, Visitor were able to try this distro. Its one of the distribution with BEST Interface. Previously, as thought many visitors would take free cds and DVDs and never use it. But we could see yesterday that people are really wanting FOSS but "how to get it?" was the main problem. Nepalinux was the distro in Demand.
