Dear All,
I would like to propose OpenProj (see http://openproj.org for
details) instead of planner for Project Management, scheduling and tracking.
Its benefits over Planner are
1. True platform independence (because of its Java build)
2. User friendly and customizable reporting structure (Planner outputs in
XHTML which is not generally desired)
3. Structured interface

Moreover I would like to lobby for a revision of the curriculum stated as
"FOSS essentials for enterprise Human Resource (HR) development/management"
to reflect applications for general management practices rather than
focusing just on HR (in case, I can't find an HR based application).
Meanwhile adding Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
(SugarCRM<http://www.sugarcrm.com/>)
and Human Resource Management (OrangeHRM <http://www.orangehrm.com/>) would
be great if time, resource and scope permits.

Please have your say.

Thankyou.
