Dear All, Open Education Week (OEW) - https://www.openeducationweek.org/ is being celebrated globally throughout this week from March 5-9. Its goal is to raise awareness about the global Open Education Movement and its impact on teaching and learning worldwide.
In this context, FOSS Nepal Community will be hosting its FOSS-KA-Kura (FKK) series of "Open Educational Resources (OER) for School Teachers" in collaboration with Axon System at the Lalitpur Madhyamik Vidhyalaya, Lalitpur on March 05, 2018. Open educational resources (OER) are freely accessible media and other digital assets that are useful for teaching, learning as well as for research purposes. The development and promotion of open educational resources are motivated by a desire to provide an alternate or enhanced educational paradigm that is used, re-mix, improve and redistribute under open licenses. We are expecting participation of 35-40 school teachers in this interaction series of FKK.
