My computer time is extremely curtailed for the near-term future due to a

unlikely that i'll be touching it. :/

That also incidentally explains why the lists have been so noise-free the
past few days ;).

FWIW, i agree with Scott's remarks regarding compatibility. Flat-out
removing it might be overkill, but has also apparently become a popular
option on the net, so might be worth considering. Like Scott, i'm
unaffected, so it doesn't really matter to me ;).
