Hello! I'm more than happy with Fossil and would like to extend its usage to something I'm thinking for quite a long time about and which was not convenient with other DVCS-es...it is keeping /etc under control.
Has anyone tried it? How does it work? Anything to think about it? Moreover, there is etckeeper (http://kitenet.net/~joey/code/etckeeper/) with support for {git,mercurial,darcs,bzr}, but probably it won't be imposssible to add support for Fossil as well.
