Thanks for your effort! Time permitting I will have a look in json API and I can write my own script to traverse the DAG, awesome! However, this basic functionality should had been in core fossil to begin with. I think the whole idea behind fossil design is to provide a single executable that does the job. I am afraid that if we start writing out-of-tree helper scripts sooner or later we will recreate GIT.
