That sounds familiar. For the record, let me say I never (ever) make branches; all work here is done on trunk. The ticket you mention is 'fixed' stating a workaround like I did here; I'm not sure that is how it should be. (Not that reopening the ticket magically fixes the problem, but you give detailed and probably useful information there.)
