perfect. just what the doctor ordered ;-)

one probably should add a title/explanatory text to the drop down menu just as for the max timeline comment length box: "date and time format" or something like that. and one might add the format

YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS

for completeness (not that I myself really need it ...).

alternatively one could separate time format (w/ and w/o seconds) and date by providing a checkbox for "inline date".

but it's perfectly usable in the present form. thanks a lot for this change.

incidentally, I feel the CLI timeline would profit from a similar change and user selectable setting for the behaviour (and also from a setting for the line length used for wrapping which is rather small right now) but of course that is something else. but if it could be done in due time that would be great, too.
