I would still like to see a special tag automatically added to a fork commit when one is detected. 2 reasons: 1. If there is an intermediate repo, the fork might not be detected until the commit is pushed/pulled further upstream. (Or if there is a "cluster" of Fossil servers not unlike how fossil-scm.org is redundantly hosted on 3 servers.) 2. The presence of such a tag will serve as a reminder that the fork exists.
