Greetings, fossil newbie here.

I have used fossil on WinXP for quite sometime now and have many separate fossils project wise. Now, I have switched my os to Linux Mint. Fossil is able to open the existing fossils created under windows, but I am unable to make any changes to them. The typical error I get is

SQLITE_WARNING: multiple links to file: /media/path/to/project.fossil

Due to this, no operations are possible except viewing what is in the fossil with the UI option.

Similarly, if I create a fossil under Linux, it cannot be handled by Windows.

Question : Since I do not depend on the central repository of all fossils on my system, is there a way to use the individual fossils as stand-alone archives that I can work with under both OSes? Has this got to do with SQL versions in use? I have used the latest builds under both linux and windows and still have the problem.

Thanks for any help.
