Hi Mary,

I have checked the locale variable of my system, it's LANG=en_US.UTF-8. So I
think this value is correct for Postgresql. I have the same on my CentOS
where Fossology is working well (even if the release of Postgresql is only
the 8.1 on my CentOS if I don't do mistakes).

Then I am a little busy these next days, I use now CentOS for Fossology, I'm
so sorry to don't have enough time to help you to fix this problem on Ubuntu
8.04 now.
