I'm seeking guidance on verifying user name fossy/password fossy setup is correct to allow my first attempts at logging into the tool, or other information I may have missed or overlooked to allow login. I believe I have fulfilled the required steps and various dependency chains to have installed fossology successfully. I let the defaults within the fo-postinstall script set my system up, but I would like to make changes to default repository location at a later time upon confirmation I can log into & run the tool successfully. The localhost /etc/password & /etc/group files were modified by the fo-postinstall script with the addition of fossy entries per the documentation. The scheduler is running, fossologyinit.sql applied, and the Detailed steps in 2.2.3 of the install document seem to check out fine. http://fossology.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/fossology/trunk/fossology/INSTALL - Do the changes to the localhost's /etc/password and /etc/group need to be applied to an organization wide password file of some type, in my case something likely controlled by the IT organization? - Other tips to verify system related settings to allow first fossy login attempt to proceed?
