9.x was for the "NetIron" boxes. If I remember correctly, they either shared the same linecards as the BigIron Jetcore cards (J-Bxxxxxx) or had line cards very similar to that of the BigIrons.

If Niel's suggestion to try dual-mode doesn't work, I'm going to try downgrading (rightgrading?) just trying to avoid it on boxes that have been up, running, and for the most part happy for 600 days. :) On Feb 18, 2010, at 12:25 AM, Jeroen Wunnink wrote: > I don't think 9.x is an official firmware release for the Bigiron 4000, afaik it's 7.x and 8.x (latter for IPv6 support on jetcore), perhaps this is the issue ? > > On 2/17/10 8:38 PM, Kris Foster wrote: >> Hi >> >> Wondering if anyone else has seen ports flap on this platform when removing a port from a VLAN. I'm seeing this on 9.3.0 and 9.4.0 after using 'no untagged eth x/y'. I can't seem to find any pattern to which ports are being affected. >> >> -- >> kris >> >> _______________________________________________ >> foundry-nsp mailing list >> [email protected] >> http://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/foundry-nsp >> > > -- > > Met vriendelijke groet, > > Jeroen Wunnink, > EasyHosting B.V.
