Good morning everyone.

Official notes below, however my additions are...

The RIT Honors Seminar working with the XO has been offered in the fall
quarter at RIT and will be 4 hours a week rather than 2.

My role Monday, on the local NPR show, [1] will be to talk about Fedora,
and our role with Math4 so prepare for a few extra requests for XOs -
Eat your heart out Herlo! I've been asked to arrive between 12:30 and
12:45 so we'll be on the air at 1 EDT.

The show will stream live at http://interactive.wxxi.org/listen I
haven't had a need to record streaming audio before, so if anyone wants
to save the show for posterity, we'll probably just want to order a CD
(details on the streaming page) Besides ordering from WXXI supports
public TV and Radio.

Hello all. I'm sorry I didn't send out a reminder notice earlier. We did
have a small turnout.

You are also invited to meet Mel Chua, a visiting OLPC engineer this
Friday or Saturday (see below).

Notes:

   1. RIT Honors Seminar students went to work learning how to use Git.
   2. Professor Jacobs solicited Eric, Karla, & Garfield to work on
ideas to get connected with Rochester City school educators.
   3. Some students are planning summer work-study projects.
   4. Mel Chua will be visiting the Honors Seminar at 10 am on 24 April
2009 and the Women in Computing, brown-bag lunch at noon on
      Saturday 25 April 2009 in Building 70 Room 2400.
   5. Professor Jacobs invited Karla & Fred to join him in a radio
interview with Bob Smith on WXXI on Monday afternoon, 27 April 2009.
