Hello, Stephane.

At the contrary, I found their article very clear : in the "standard fashion",
the blinking RED Led remembers
you that you MAY change the MAC address to avoid any conflict in your LAN, in
particular if you have
several FOXs connected.
They say you can change the MAC with the "on board" command bootblocktool ,
witch disables the
blinking LED. If you want to change the MAC within the image, use the previous
solution I exposed.
If you want to free the blinking LED thru the image, you must do it in the
kernel.

Hope it was helpfull

Bye,
 Jean-Pierre

  Hello,
First thanks for your quick response!!
I think the web site http://www.acmesystems.it/?id=57#5000 is not so clear.
What I have understand is that I need to change the MAC adresse with a random
MAC adresse (with the 6 first hexa =00:40:8C) to stop blinking red light. The
blinking red light means the MAC adresse is the default one.
  I understand well???

Please let me know if it is clearly explained.

    Thanks
