Dear Eric,

the processor ETRAX 100LX used in the FoxBoard doesn't have a native
sleep mode.

We added in the project of the FoxBoard LX a jumper (J13). Shortening
this jumper will switch off the 3.3V DC regulator onboard.

A small external processor or logic can be designed so to switch the
FoxBoard off and then on depending from the policy chosen.

A wakeup by LAN seems to me not easy. Timed wakeup or external input
wakeup (acting on a simple external processor, with notification of the
fox to the central station when awake could be the option for a solar
powered system.

Best regards,

Roberto Asquini
