Hi all, i wrote very much software in the last weeks, and now I have the perfect configuration on my FOX board. Since this software is the main part of my final year project, I don't want to build the whole kernel and image again. You know maybe: "never change a running system". Since we don't have so much time anymore, I would like you to send me the binary files for owfs.
What I want to do: - read a DS18B20 / DS18S20 from FOX serial port 2 /dev/tyS2 or one of the others (I dont't know currently which one). - get the degrees on console with a shell command - maybe, optionally, draw nice graphs, as you explained me last time. Could anyone of you send me the binary files needed for this as well as a short explaination how to use it? I don't want to use a http-daemon or something, just use a console command. thank you very much in advance, greets, ernst 2006/12/4, Christian Magnusson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > > > My compiled version of owfs for the fox-board works perfect with an > USB-adapter DS9490. > > I haven't tried any serial adapter, but it should be possible to connect > that to /dev/ttyS2 on connector J6. > > It looks like it is pin 7 (TXD2) and 8 (RXD2), but I'm not sure it you > have to write to some special registers first to enable those pins. > > > > Look at the web-pages for more information: > > > > http://www.acmesystems.it/?id=35 > > http://www.acmesystems.it/download/fox_j6_complete.pdf > > > > /Christian > > > > > ------------------------------ > > *Från:* [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] *För *Ernst > Mayerhofer > *Skickat:* den 3 december 2006 17:34 > *Till:* [email protected] > *Ämne:* [foxboard] OWFS > > > > Hi, > > does anybody know which pin the owfs 1-wire software uses? > > greets, > Ernst Mayerhofer > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
