There are very good documentation-resources for building a new image for the 
Fox, and I found it to be really easy following the instructions. 
I doubt that you going to have much fun with your board without some basic 
Linux/programming skills.

So why is the mmc_drv code enabled at all. It was disabled in my default Image 
from the SDK. 
Did you install an Image from a different Repositiory/Source?
