Hi. I'm running a Fox LX832 with the as-shipped kernel uname -a shows
Linux foxbox 2.6.15 #9 PREEMPT Tue Jan 30 14:46:27 CET 2007 cris unknown I have two 4Gb pen-drives mounted as vfat in the two USB ports /dev/sda1 4022064 71836 3950228 2% /mnt/1 /dev/sdb1 4022064 80908 3941156 2% /mnt/2 I can ftp many small files (up to about 9Mbytes) to the file systems on the USB pen-drives but any transfers larger than this crash the Fox hard [orange status-LED on permanently, the green LED on the memory-stick blinking, ssh session to Fox via ethernet unresponsive). Only way to recover is to power-cycle the Fox. Are there any known issues with USB write-speeds? I have a 128Mb USB pen-drive (also vfat) which I am going to test with. --Wolf
