For your question, the answer is yes.
IG2 is wired to a differnt pin than OG2 so both ar available at the same 
time. You can write on the port G register obtaining outputs on port G 
1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. At the same time if you do a read from port G you will 
read the sate of the external pins IG1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 that are all on 
different phisical pins.
