Hi Jacco by default foxserve distributions has the telnet and ftp servers disabled. Please use instead ssh and scp.
On Windows you can use putty (http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/) configured as SSH client to have a remote console and WinSCP (http://winscp.net/eng/index.php) to do file transfers. On Linux just type ssh 192.168.0.96 or use scp command to transfer files. Sergio on linux ans WinScp just type ssh 192.18.0.96. jaccohouter wrote: > > > Hello > > I recently received my first foxboard with foxserve installed. > But I cannot configure the board. > It seems that telnet and ftp access are not possible. > When pinging the board on 192.168.0.96, the response is ok. > When connecting with a browser, the foxserve home page opens correctly. > But when i try to connect with telnet, the connection failed. > The same is for ftp.
