Hello, I just had to configure the kernel to get the umts-usb e170 started.
But now everytime when I try to ping google the modem hangs up. here is the /var/log/messages Jun 2 13:09:24 axis kernel: crisv10_irq warn: 3rd error for epid:1 (in bulk) URB:0xc0455a80[1042] Jun 2 13:09:27 axis kernel: crisv10_irq warn: 3rd error for epid:2 (out bulk) URB:0xc0455ae0[1045] Jun 2 13:09:29 axis kernel: crisv10_irq dbg: ctr_status_irq, controller status: host_mode Jun 2 13:09:30 axis kernel: usb 1-2: USB disconnect, address 9 Jun 2 13:09:30 axis kernel: usbserial_generic 1-2:1.0: device disconnected Jun 2 13:09:30 axis kernel: generic ttyUSB1: generic converter now disconnected from ttyUSB1 Jun 2 13:09:30 axis kernel: usbserial_generic 1-2:1.1: device disconnected Jun 2 13:09:30 axis kernel: generic ttyUSB0: usb_serial_generic_write - failed submitting write urb, error -19 Jun 2 13:09:30 axis kernel: generic ttyUSB2: generic converter now disconnected from ttyUSB2 Jun 2 13:09:30 axis kernel: usbserial_generic 1-2:1.2: device disconnected Jun 2 13:09:30 axis pppd[894]: Modem hangup Jun 2 13:09:30 axis pppd[894]: Connection terminated. Is there a way to avoid that disconnecting? thanks for your support
