Hi Norman & Nic,
We have various problems with the good old Report Writer (and legacy
Informix historian).
One of our reports "broke" after upgrading to I/A version 4.3. It was a
two page report that would only print the first page (the second page had
only the missing data dashes - - - - -) when run from the scheduler. When
run on demand it would work fine. FoxTac never could duplicate the problem
when I sent the report file to them, & never could come up with an
explanation. Finally got tired of calling them & created two separate
single page reports.
This report had 24 hourly averages from about 25 points, was running on an
old AW51B and CP40s, and worked fine under 4.2.3. Nic's idea about the
timing sounds like a likely cause of our problem.
