Try Azonix ( http://www.azonix.com <http://www.azonix.com>  ). They have
lots of interesting stuff. However, I doubt that you can get an
Intrinsically Safe portable PC since they have batteries. You might be able
to get a (rather heavy) explosion-proof device.

I assume that you've looked at our Mobil (Wireless) Workstation (PSS 21H 4W1
B3)? It does a lot of what you want, but its only a General Purpose device.
I think it is built by Hitachi so that might be another place to look for a
device.

        hazardous classification which means hydrocarbons in the area.
Those
        terminals are real nice but only good for harsh environmental
conditions
        (temperature and humidity).  We need something intrinsically safe.
