To my knowledge, the AB gateway requires the use of AB communication
controller, either a KE or KF2 style. This gets you on the AB Data
Highway(DH+). You would need to install a Data Highway communications
interface module, AB PN 1756-DHRIO, in your ControlLogix PLC to have it
communcate to DH+
