So I learn.  You were right.  I had a 2.0.x (2.0.5) fpc, and used that
to compile the latest 2.1.1 and it worked.  I still need to get my
head around why last weeks 2.1.1 couldn't compile this weeks 2.1.1
(svn)...  I guess that's why I am an application developer and not a
compiler developer.  ;-)

Compilation of 2.1.1 is only guaranteed to work with the latest
release (currently 2.0.4). Anything else may work, but is not
guaranteed to work. Start with 2.0.4 and it will work fine.
