I've just tried to install fpc-2.4.0-0.rc1.i386.rpm (downloaded from ftp://ftp.freepascal.org/pub/fpc/beta/2.4.0-rc1/i386-linux/rpm/fpc-2.4.0-0.rc1.i386.rpm) on CentOS 5, and I also get error about missing dependency to libtinfo.so.5. fpc versions 2.2.2 (default on CentOS 5) and 2.2.4 (installed from rpm) both install correctly.
