Building trunk is only supported for the latest release, which is 2.4.4.
So if I were you I'd try 2.4.4 and if that doesn't help, then ask again ;)
Thanks, 2.4.2 also works for me :-)
Seems that I skipped too many versions, when 2.2.4 started reporting errors.
