To decently support creating fully portable applications for multiple OSes,
"TStrings" and its siblings (e.g. TStringlist") needs do be implemented in a
way not forcing a fixed encoding to store the information in and thus force
time consuming convention when storing and retrieving strings in any
different encoding.
We know this. But that is stage 2.
