Personally I'd LOVE to see be possible. I'm pretty sure just about every Pascal developer out there has wanted to be able to do that kind of thing at some point.
It's not like there's any real downsides to it either that I can think of. It doesn't make code harder to read. It's not ambiguous (because like, everyone knows what ^ means.)
