An alternative to the export command is to specify the path to the compiler as a parameter to make, similar to the rest of the parameters you pass to make. To troubleshoot use the info command for make to see how the various variables are configured: make info PP=/home/user/fpc304/lib/fpc/3.0.4/ppcx64 If the compiler is found, it should be reported as the first line printed after == Configuration info ==
