I won't comment your generic statements praising one tool and condemning
the other, but let me remind you, that it isn't just about Florian. During
the previous discussions on this evergreen topic, Florian, Marco, Jonas
(if I remember correctly) and others raised quite a few specific questions
on how to accomplish particular tasks commonly used in the FPC project. I
may have missed something, but I haven't noticed a particular proposal
from you or anyone else describing in detail how to cover those needs
(possibly a proposal altering the current practice, but still allowing to
achieve the original goals). This was how we performed the CVS to SVN
transition in the past.

People interested in changing the tools should be those coming with a
particular workable proposal on how to use the tool. You should not expect
that those happily using another tool _and_ performing many more
interactions with the current tool than you (without major issues) would
be keen to invest their time in analyzing all possible workflows, etc., of
a new tool just to find out, if they could achieve the same outcomes with
another tool as well as with the current one. Also, note that while many
things may work well in theory, solutions requiring users to be perfect
(e.g. having high level of discipline to perform certain things in certain
way resulting in the wanted outcomes) will rarely work so well in
reality...
