Dear All , In some of your messages I am reading questions about places of the some Lazarus and/or Free Pascal phrases/names .
During installation of OpenSUSE 11.2 yesterday ( 2009-December-9 ) I saw a package named global , I have searched it Internet , and found the following sites : http://www.gnu.org/software/global/ GNU GLOBAL source code tag system GNU GLOBAL is a source code tagging system that works the same way across diverse environments (emacs, vi, less, bash, web browser, etc). You can locate specified objects in source files and move there easily. It is useful for hacking a large project containing many subdirectories, many #ifdef and many main() functions. It is similar to ctags or etags but is different from them at the point of independence of any editor. It runs on a UNIX(POSIX) compatible operating system like GNU and BSD. GNU GLOBAL is part of the GNU project, and is free software. You can freely copy, modify and redistribute this program under GNU GPL. There are very good application pages as follows : http://www.tamacom.com/ http://www.tamacom.com/tour.html http://www.tamacom.com/tour/kernel/linux/ http://www.tamacom.com/tour/kernel/freebsd/ http://www.tamacom.com/tour/kernel/hurd/ http://www.tamacom.com/tour/kernel/bsd/ http://www.tamacom.com/tour/kernel/unix/ I did not apply this package to any sources yet . If you find it useful , you may apply it Lazarus and/or Free Pascal and/or your own sources to get a hyper-linked cross reference of sources . With the hope of being useful to you with my message , Thank you very much .
