You could implement the timeout directly in the internal FSocket in TFPHttpClient(*). I implemented that using "GetTick"[1] and "TTimeVal"[2]: Just suggestions! =) (*) E.g: TFPCustomHTTPSocket = class(TInetSocket) // implementing the timout ..
