StrToInt always uses ShortString buffer:
*Function fpc_Val_SInt_ShortStr(DestSize: SizeInt; Const S: ShortString;
out Code: ValSInt): ValSInt;*
If it is correct: Can we skip using ShortString buffer and have e.g.
'common' PChar base function for AnsiString/ShortString?
