I think we should wait until I've ported the library to fpusb as there 
may be some glib features that become useful there. And maybe we should 
even wait until I've added thread safety (planned for later). From that 
point, I don't envision any more major internal changes so then we could 
consider glib's involvement again.

Yes. I don't know much, imagemagick was the quick solution. In addition 
to enlarging AES4000 images, we have dropped the matching thresholds in 
aes4000, aes1610 and upektc, and even then it doesn't work as well as 
the devices with larger sensors.

I'm not interested in closed solutions. I should have included the words 
"open source" :)
