Hi, Have successfully installed the fprint libs and demo etc. Am running Opensuse 11 on a Lenovo 3000 N200. If i run fprint_demo as std user Status shows as could not open device. Run is as SU and it works fine. I've managed to enroll and now when using SU from a command prompt I can successfully use my fingerprint to gain access rather than a password.
However on GDM (running Gnome) the laptop doesn't seem to recognize my finger print (nothing happens when swiping) so have to resort to userid/pw. My common-auth has this in it. auth required pam_env.so auth sufficient pam_fprint.so auth sufficient pam_unix.so try_first_pass likeauth nullok auth required pam_deny.so Any ideas please?
