Rick Quatro's SuperWebBundle includes a script titled "Open All In Book"
which does exactly what you want. I've used it a number of times to
update books to the current FM version in one fell swoop.
The script is probably not available as a freebie on its own, but
perhaps you can inquire from Rick about its availability.

Subject: Script to upgrade books

Hello all,
Does anyone know of a free FrameScript for upgrading books and saving
all files from an older version of Frame (6 > 7). This is probably an
easy script to write, if you knew the language. :-)

I am running FrameMaker 7.0p579 and have FrameScript 4.0.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
