Adobe has released the FrameMaker 8.0.1 update to fix a number of
anomalies
with FrameMaker 8.0.
You may download and install the update from within FrameMaker 8.0 using
the Help=>Updates route or via direct download from Adobe's website.
Note
that the update installer is approximately 150 megabytes in size.

Addendum to the ReadMe File for the Patch Release 8p266
The 8p266 patch can be applied on an existing installation of FrameMaker
8p236 released in July 2007.
These are some of the issues that have been fixed in release of
FrameMaker 8p266.

How to Remove (uninstall) FrameMaker 8p266 patch
For Windows:
1. In the Add/Remove Programs(Control Panel) there is an entry for
"Adobe Framemaker 8p266Patcher". Framemaker Patcher can be uninstalled
using that. Post Uinstallation Framemaker reverts back to Framemaker
8(p236).
For Unix:
It is not possible to uninstall the patch on Framemaker on Solaris
Platform.
To revert back to the earlier version, do a complete uninstall of
FrameMaker 8 and then reinstall the earlier version of FrameMaker from
your CD image.
