Thanks for the thought. Been there, done that, several times. The only FM
process I see is what starts when I try to start the update.

Some processes continue unwanted after you close the application. Try
terminating the process in Windows Task Manager.  Open it with
Ctrl+Alt+Del, select the FrameMaker process in the Process pane,
RightClick, choose End Process Tree.
