*whaps hand to forehead* Doh, why didn't I think of Mif2Go! Thanks David.
Yes, any xml that translates into XMetal "should" do the same for Arbortext. Is there anyone with experience bringing a M2G xml file into Arbortext? -----Original Message----- From: David Spreadbury [mailto:dspre...@yahoo.com] Sent: Wednesday, January 13, 2010 3:00 PM To: Butler, Darren J CTR USAF AFMC 584 CBSS/GBHDB; framers@lists.frameusers.com Subject: RE: Frame xml to sgml conversion Darren, You might take a look at Mif2Go for the FM -> XML conversion step. It has built-in support for DocBook and DITA. I have used it for DITA conversion. The XML imported fine into XMetal. I would expect the same with an import into Arbortext. Due to differences in DTDs, using structured FM for this is not an option for us. We have a need to convert unstructured FM into XML that can be morphed-up to sgml either by technique or application(s). I'm curious to know what tools and/or techniques are being used to accomplish FrameMaker *.xml files to sgml (non-Frame).
