I wasn't thorough in my post - it's for new files too. Even files that have
been created only in FM9 have this issue as well.

Rick,
You mention that the problem is with old files. Have you MIF-washed
them in FM9?
I've had similar minor problems with old files that I've opened in 9,
relying on the system conversion settings.
Because some of the printer settings are stored with the file, I'm
wondering if MIF-washing may help.
