Hi RJ Jacquez, But this review does not work with Acrobat 9 Pro Extended and Office 2010. Do you have a solution for this? I was using this feature by setting up WebDAV folder. Hope you will not ask me to migrate to Acrobat X. We just bought Acrobat 9 Pro Extended recently.
This was working fine when I had earlier versions of Office. We have thousands of customers across the world using this feature, so it does work fine. Looking at your steps below, I was having a tough time following until I realized that perhaps you are initiating this process without having a PDF file opened in Acrobat. If this is the case, it's always better to first open the file you want to send out for Review first. Also, to get started, the file you want to Review should be on your local drive and once you have initiated the PDF Shared Review, a copy will be uploaded to the Shared folder you specify, with a _review suffix. One more thing, if you select Shared Folder as your option, make sure you specify the path in this format: \\<Server Name>\<Folder Name>\ I hope these tips work, however if you still have problems, I'd be happy to have a screen sharing session with you via Adobe Connect. Just let me know. Every time I get to the screen entitled, "Decide How to Send the PDF File," I select my shared file, (which I make sure has permissions set to Everyone and is on a network drive) and then click Next. I always get the error message, "The file destination provided is not valid. Enter a valid file location." I've tried it with a local drive in a publically shared folder with permissions set to Everyone. Same error message. Also tried repairing Acrobat. No help, same error message. Does it even work at all? Has anyone ever had it to work or is it totally bogus?
