Thanks Mike, I was able to correct the problem by adding a font file "timr45w.ttf" to my fonts folder. I did notice the line you mentioned in the maker.ini file, but wasn't sure why it worked with FM8 and not FM10. In any case, I think having the right font file is better in the long run than having it substitute. It was confusing because it turned out I had the Times italic and bold fonts, but FM8 was substituting for the plain Times font. I had never noticed it before. Anyway, problem solved, thanks.

If you can't find it installed, you may be able to locate it on the installation disk of a PostScript printer. You can also remap Times to Times New Roman in the [UnknownToKnowFontMap] section of maker.ini. The following entry is there by default, but may have gotten turned off: Times, *, *, *=Times New Roman, *, *, * Mike Wickham On 4/2/2012 5:04 AM, Timothy DeWees wrote: Rebecca, It does look now like it's a missing font issue. Our client still uses Times which is an ancient font. Every time I upgrade something, whether frame, or acrobat, or Windows, I get problems with this font being missing. I should have thought of that right off. Looking at my FM8 maker.ini file, it's still not clear to me how my FM8 was locating this font. I think I need to located it on my old computer and install it in the normal location of my new machine.
