Hi Gay,

Performance and stability have been improved with FrameMaker 11, however it
is hard to know if your particular issues have been solved. I would suggest
that you download and install the trial version and run some of your books
or documents through it and see what happens. You can have FrameMaker 11
installed side-by-side with other versions of FrameMaker. Please let me know
if you have any questions or comments. Thank you very much.

Subject: FM 11?!

Thanks to Craig Ede for letting us know about this -- has anyone test-driven
FM 11 yet? I'm curious to know if it handles conditional text and text
insets any better than 9 did. We skipped 10 entirely because we heard it was
still buggy -- is FM 11 worth the upgrade? I'm so frustrated by the constant
crashes caused by conditional text, I could easily vote to return to MS
You-Know-What.

Thanks for any advice,
~~Gay Alson
